 Biddy Basketball League
 

 

For many years, the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department’s Biddy Basketball Program has provided an opportunity for young players to learn the game of basketball, improve their skills, meet new friends, and most importantly, have fun! With the support of our wonderful sponsors, we have been able to serve hundreds of kids throughout our six age divisions, each year.

 

With league play beginning in early December for five of the divisions; 7 co-ed, 8-10 girls, 11-13 girls, 8-10 co-ed, and 11-13 co-ed, and mid-January for the 14-18 co-ed division, our gyms will soon be busy and buzzing throughout the week with hundreds of kids and families within the community for a friendly and competitive basketball season! As a sponsor, your business name will appear on the team jerseys, as well as the sponsorship banner at the Andy Murphy Neighborhood Center, and will be read each week on Radio Kingston throughout the season with the box score of each game.

The Kingston Parks and Recreation Department is offering an opportunity to businesses to advertise their company at Dietz Stadium. This popular venue is open daily for the community to enjoy and is frequently sought after for organizations to host large-scale events, making it a prime location to promote some of our local wonderful businesses!

Kingston’s historic Dietz Stadium is jointly owned by the City of Kingston and Kingston City School District and hosts various sporting events (semi-professional and scholastic), recreational activities, and local charity fundraisers, which draws thousands of visitors each year.

If you are interested in signing up for our Local Business Promotion Program, please fill out the Dietz Stadium Sponsorship Application (link below or in forms)  and mail back, along with the annual promotion fee for the tier you are selecting to the Parks and Recreation Department. Please be advised that available space is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign purchases or replacements are the responsibility of the business owner and should follow the following criteria below. You can present the specs to one of our local sign companies for assistance. Please send your design proof to the Parks and Recreation main office at ejohnson@kingston-ny.gov for approval.
